CONGRESS PRIZES

  1. In all congress pairs tournaments:
    1. 10% of the participants, 7% are the main prizes and 3% are special prizes.
    2. The financial prize fund is at least 35% of the entry fee
    3. Winners will receive trophies
  2. Non-cumulative special prizes are awarded to:
    1. best pair, in which the rank (WK) of each player does not exceed 3
    2. best wemen or mixed pair
    3. best junior oair
    4. b`est foreign pair
  3. The condition for awarding a special prize in a given category is that at least five participants who meet the requirements for that category participate in the tournament. If this requirement is not met for any category, up to two special prizes will be awarded provided that at least ten participants who meet any of the requirements participate.
  4. The detailed calculation of prize amounts is based on a key that assigns following values to each awarded place:
    1. first prize - 10
    2. second prize - 7
    3. third prize - 5
    4. fourth prize - 4
    5. fifth and subsequent prizes - 3 each
    6. special prizes - 2 each
  5. After calculating the number of prizes, values of the prize key are added up. The prize fund is divided by the sum of points of the key. The result value is multiplied by the key values for each prize, which the organizer rounds at its discretion. Additional differences in the prize amounts for the "fifth and subsequent" categories are permitted.
  6. In the Polish Grand Prix Pairs tournament, prizes are awarded as defined above, except that the prize pool is calculated according to the GPPP regulations. (50% of (entry fees minus 10 pln/player) + 3500 pln)
  7. In the Polish Team Championships, a minimum of three prizes are awarded, to no fewer than 7% of number of the teams. The number and amount of prizes will be announced after the tournament starts.
  8. Prizes in the Congress Classification:
    1. The top 10 placed competitors receive the main cash prizes of:
      1st place PLN 5,000
      2nd place PLN 3,500
      3rd place PLN 2,000
      4th place PLN 1,500
      5th place PLN 1,000
      6th place PLN 750
      7th place PLN 600
      8th place PLN 400
      9th place PLN 400
      10th place PLN 400
    2. Special prizes will be awarded to the highest-ranked competitors:
      • best junior - PLN 400
      • best woman - PLN 400
      • best senior - PLN 400
      • best senior - PLN 400
      • best foreign competitor - PLN 400
      • best player up to WK 2.5 - PLN 200
      • best player up to WK 5.0 - PLN 200
      • best U19 competitor
        1. 1st place - PLN 200
        2. 2nd place Place - PLN 150
        3. 3rd place - PLN 100
      • Best U15 Player
        1. 1st place - PLN 200
        2. 2nd place - PLN 150
        3. 3rd place - PLN 100
  9. Main and sepcial prizes are awarded to players who have played at least 50% of the congress tournaments for the Congress Classification.
  10. In the event of tied place, heiger place will be determined by higher place achieved in the tournaments in the following order: MPT, GPPP, 4x10 pairs. In case involved players were placed on the same place the prizes will be divided equally.
  11. Special prizes in congress classification are cumulative with the main prizes, but not with each other. In other words, a single player cannot receive two special prizes, but can receive both the main prize and the special prize. In the event of cumulation of special prizes, the player receives the prize in the order given in section 6.b. For example, a junior player who wins the junior and women's standings receives the junior prize, and the women's prize is awarded to the second best woman etc.

PRIZES IN AMATEUR TOURNAMENTS

  1. In all pairs tournaments, the top three places receive trophies; in the team tournament, the winning team receives trophies.
  2. The main prize in the team tournament is a voucher to the Enigmat Escape Room in Gdańsk.
  3. Each player who takes first place in the pairs tournament will receive a voucher for three selected classes at the King of Hearts Bridge School.
  4. For first and second place in the amateur classification, a voucher for five classes at the Szlem Bridge School.
  5. For the top two players from Gdynia in the amateur classification, a voucher for a massage at MK Studio.
